🪸 About Me

I'm Juana, an Argentinian writer and language teacher based in the UK. I taught English as a Second Language for 8 years, and for the last 5 I have been teaching my native language, Spanish, to native speakers of English. I have published a book on Creative Writing through a mainstream Argentinian publisher and I am the founder and director of an online Creative Writing academy.
🍭 This is for you if:
- You’ve always wanted to learn a second language.
- You took up Spanish in school but haven’t spoken a word of it in twenty years.
- You can read whole books in Spanish but you feel too shy to hold a conversation.
- You love learning new things.
- You learn better when you have an individual tutor
- Your friend/partner/family member/flatmate is a Spanish speaker and you’d like to understand them better (and to know for sure if they’re talking about you behind your back!)
- You really fancy Pedro Pascal and think maybe if you could chat him up in his native language you’d have a chance of marrying him.
- All of the above.
- None of the above, but you feel curious about Spanish, so why not.
🦐 Why Spanish?
- It’s the fourth most spoken language in the world, think of all the fascinating real-life stories you might access if you become even a tiny bit acquainted with the language they’re being told in!
